Official Rules – SureCo + UHSM Member Testimonial Video
Eligibility: The Member Testimonial Video submission is open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years old and are clients of SureCo Insurance Agency, Inc. (“Sponsor”) in good standing as UHSM members (“Clients”). Each eligible video submission from a valid Client who meets all “Mandatory Requirements” will receive the “Member Gift” prize as outlined. There is no purchase necessary to participate in the promotion of these videos nor in earning the $25 Amazon Gift card. The entire video testimonial submission will be referred to as “Program” through the entirety of this disclaimer.
How to Participate: Clients can participate in the video submission Program by creating a video recording of themselves answering and providing feedback to all three (3) of the Video Prompt Questions provided. Once completed filming, Clients need to submit to the VocalVideo portal, recording and submitting the video there. U.S. Residents 18 years and older can participate in the promotion of these videos, and do not need to be Clients.
By uploading a video, Clients agree to the following video release guidelines which include the use of the video’s content on SureCo, UHSM and WeShare properties, including social media and website channels. Not valid in Tennessee or where prohibited.
Earning Prizes: Client is required to submit the video and provide a valid email address in order to receive the gift card. The video must be in good condition. This meaning the sound on, video on, and good lighting. The sponsor will only accept positive feedback for earning the Gift Card. Negative feedback is accepted, however, no gift card will be rewarded. The rewarding of the gift card will ultimately be at the sponsor’s discretion.
List of Prizes: $25 Amazon Gift card sent via email.
DISCLAIMER. Subject to applicable laws, Sponsor makes no warranties and hereby disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, concerning any prize furnished in connection with the Competition. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAWS, PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND SPONSOR HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
ALL Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable, no substitutions will be made except as provided herein, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a particular prize for one of comparable or greater value. Winners are responsible for any applicable local income taxes. NO PO Box Numbers can be used as the mailing address.
General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to modify the Program at any time. In the event that the operation of the Program is impaired in any way, the Sponsor may award the Grand Prize from among the eligible Customer entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify and seek damages from any individual who tampers with the Program, violates these Rules or acts in a disruptive manner. The drawing represents sweepstakes and is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited. By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Program or receipt or use of any prize. You waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Program constitutes your consent to Sponsor’s use of your name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, and state of residence for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
FORCE MAJEURE. If, for any reason, the Competition (or any part thereof) is not capable of running as planned by reason of computer virus, bug, system malfunction, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, fire, flood, earthquake, storm or other natural cataclysm, riot, strike, terrorist activity, civil commotion, governmental regulation, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which, in its sole opinion, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition (or any part thereof), Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, or to thereafter conduct the Competition by selecting the prize winner(s) for affected Competition drawing from among all eligible entries received for such affected Competition drawing prior to the action taken by Sponsor or otherwise in a manner which is fair, equitable and in accordance with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Disputes: Except where prohibited, you agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Program or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Orange County, California, USA. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights, and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Program, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with, the laws of California, USA, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of California, USA or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than California, USA.
